A self-proclaimed independent institute dedicated to the preservation, analysis, and support of artistic situations

IDAS focuses on participatory, process-based, and parafictional practices in contemporary art in Russia and internationally. By an artistic situation, we broadly understand a form of social interaction initiated by an artist or a group of artists, which serves as an alternative to established forms of communication.
